Vor fast 50 Jahren erhielt der Weihnachtsmann einen Brief von einem jungen Mädchen, in dem es seinen größten Wunsch äußerte: eine Weihnachtskette aus Kristallglas. So beginnt die Geschichte eines Unternehmens, das untrennbar mit Weihnachten und Glas verbunden ist.

Edelgas ist stolz darauf, mit unserem Weihnachtsbaum und unserem Designerschmuck Familientraditionen am Leben zu erhalten; von den traditionellen Techniken unserer Hersteller in der EU bis hin zu den geschätzten Feiern unserer Kunden, die von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben werden.

Our Products

The Edelglas range is comprised of traditional designs developed based on our many years of research, collaboration and coordination with curators who specialise in their craft. 

Every product is a unique work of art; each mouth-blown and hand-painted, using traditional, in some cases UNESCO-protected methods that were developed over hundreds of years. 

Today, our collection includes more than 3,000 different glass ornaments, developed in a sequence of many work steps, carefully managed by Ms Spielauer. Each artisan leaves their mark as they contribute their specific talent to bring her visions to life.

Where are Edelglas products made?

Edelglas products are all mouth-blown & handmade in Europe, according to the traditional Bohemia style. Our range includes ornaments made using UNESCO-protected cultural practises, using techniques handed down for generations through local families.

Where can I find Edelglas?

We have a range of locations worldwide. To find the location most convenient to you, use the top right hand corner drop down to adjust your location, then head to our "Locations" page. Our products are all also available year-round through our website.

Where will my ornament come from?

We currently have distribution centres in Austria and Australia. The shipping origin will depend on the location of the ornament you choose.

Why does my ornament look different to the photo?

All Edelglas creations are mouth-blown and hand-painted by families using traditional techniques in Europe. This means that your item is unique - there's nothing else exactly like it in the world.

As a result, the photos you see may not be exactly the same as what you receive; colours, sizes, patterns and small details may change. Rest assured we'll do our best to match your product to your order; however, if it's imperative that your order is exactly identical to what you see above, please send us an email and we'll help you find what you're looking for.
